Carmen Rose

With over 20 years of performing and teaching experience, Carmen Rose is one of the leading flute teachers in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Born and raised in St. Louis, Carmen holds a Bachelor’s degree in flute performance from Illinois State University as well as a Master’s in orchestral performance from Webster University. In addition to flute, Carmen loves to teach beginning music programs and has even developed her own music and movement program for preschool aged children. From Mini Melodies to WunderKeys, Carmenbelieves that every student is capable of understanding and benefiting from music and that learning should occur in a fun, friendly and nurturing environment.
